AM News Net, started by photographer Anthony Mazur, began with the simple idea: Stories are meant to be shared.
Formerly a simple photographer for his high school yearbook, Mazur was launched into the national spotlight when his school district attempted to sanction him for posting and selling his photos online. Becoming a cause célèbre for student First Amendment and intellectual property rights, Mazur decided to go his own way, launching his own news site and independently reporting on the world of sports without bureaucratic interference.
With the firm belief that photography can inspire, Mazur expanded from covering high school sports to college, national, and international events.

Now, Mazur does independent and freelance work covering the world of sport, sharing images on social media and the AM News Net photo library. In addition to his work on AMNewsNet.com, Mazur's photography has also been feaured in publications such as Sports Illustrated, Make-A-Wish Foundation, and he has covered numerous NCAA championship games and international sports across the country.
