TUSCALOOSA (AM News Net) – The Alabama Crimson Tide Softball coaching staff was awarded the title of Staff of the Year in the Southern Region by the National Fast-pitch Coaches Association. The announcement, made on Monday, included Head Coach Patrick Murphy, who just finished his 18th season as leading the Alabama softball team, along with Alyson Habetz (Associate Head Coach), Stephanie VanBrakle (Assistant Coach), Adam Arbour (Volunteer Assistant Coach), and Kate Harris (Director of Operations) in the honors. Alabama Softball has won this award ten times before and this is the third time for this specific coaching staff.
