Preview: SMU Basketball Plays UCF on Wednesday

DALLAS (AM News Net) – Having won 13 out of their last 14 games, SMU Basketball (17-4, 7-1) has a chance to add another win to their record on Wednesday with an away game against UCF. SMU Basketball up 8-6 overall in the series against the knights. SMU defeated UCF 88-73 in the only game between the two last season on January 10. The Mustangs are coming back from a victory over Houston in which SMU was never down in points at any moment of the game and are 3-1 on the road in AAC play. So far, SMU has prevented their last 14 opponents from scoring above 66 points. SMU leads the AAC in shooting threes at 40.2 percent. A win will be welcome, as the Mustangs will follow up with two consecutive road games at Tulsa and at Temple. The game starts at 5:00 PM CST.
