Adrian Beltre Signs 2-Year Extension to Contractposted 04/17/16
Texas Rangers third baseman Adrian Beltre has signed a two-year extension to his contract, according to a Rangers press release. “I think it was an easy choice,” Beltre said in a press conference. Beltre’s hitting average is .283 for this season so far, and has hit two home runs. He has also earned 468 RBI’s in 744 games as a Ranger. “Since I got here, the league promised me a team to win, and so far it's been good,” he said. “I feel comfortable with my teammates. I feel comfortable with the coaches, the manager, and the office.” Beltre has said since the beginning, the Rangers have been competing and giving him a chance to get to the World Series.
