Rangers, Blue Jays Players to Appeal Suspensions After Brawlposted 05/17/16
ARLINGTON (AM News Net) – A bench-clearing brawl between the Texas Rangers and Toronto Blue Jays last Sunday resulted in numerous suspensions. The fight, started after Toronto’s Jose Bautista slid into Rangers second baseman Rougned Odor. Odor threw a punch at Bautista, which escalated into a fight between the teams. Suspensions: Rougned Odor: 8 games John Gibbons: 3 games Jesse Chavez: 3 games Jose Bautista: 1 game Elvis Andrus: 1 game Tim Leiper: 1 game Both Odor and Bautista will appeal their suspensions.
