Lewisville High School volleyball came out on top over Flower Mound last Friday, winning in three sets. Although originally behind in the beginning of the 1st set, Lewisville caught up, and won 25-19 in set one, 25-23 in set two, and 25-19 in set 3 to upset Flower Mound, who were bi-district champions last season. Lewisville senior libero Micah Dinwiddie was proud of the win.
     “I think it’s great,” Dinwiddie said. “I think our team is all about giving the best effort so I think that whatever we can do as a team collectively will be great this year.” 
     Both Flower Mound and Lewisville are now 2-2 in their standings. Lewisville plays Plano West next at home at 7:00 PM on Tuesday, September 15.
