Three Auburn Softball Players Arrested For Drug Possession

AUBURN (AM News Net) – Three Auburn softball players have been arrested for possessing marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Senior Haley Fagan, sophomore pitcher Makayla Martin, and Brittany Maresette, a freshman, were arrested on Thursday around 12:47 in the morning at a residence on East Samford Avenue. The players have all been suspended indefinitely for violating team rules. The court cases will be heard on August 31. The charges, which are considered Class A misdemeanors, carry a penalty of up to a year in jail and a maximum $6,000 fine.
