COPPELL – The Coppell girls lacrosse team, District 1 champions, second in the state of Texas, is moving on to the state finals in the coming weeks. Starting the playoffs by eliminating Flower Mound 18-4, Coppell then swiftly took down McKinney 22-9. Coppell finished the district finals as champions after beating ESD 15-3.

Coppell will begin the state championship playoffs on May 7th at 10:30 AM against Cedar Park. The championships are hosted at Coppell Middle School North.
