Trumbo Hits 2 Dingers in Same Inningby Anthony Mazur
posted 04/16/16 ARLINGTON – After an upsetting loss for Orioles fans on Thursday night, the Birds responded with an 11-5 win over the Texas Rangers last night. Baltimore outfielder Mark Trumbo, who was at bat four times, hit two home runs, both in the seventh inning. This is the first time in Orioles history a player hit two homers in the same inning. Trumbo also earned five out of the 11 total runs for the Orioles that night. The Rangers, who were leading 5-1 in the sixth inning, allowed Baltimore nine runs in the seventh, and another in the eighth. "This is where the fun is,” Trumbo said after last night’s win.
