Flower Mound's Christian Edmondson Speaks About His Faith On The CourtPosted 01/14/16
by Anthony Mazur Flower Mound Boys Basketball senior Christian Edmondson spoke about his faith after a dramatic double-overtime game against Plano West, and explained his pregame ritual: glorifying God. Before every game, Edmondson can be seen pointing up to God and silently praising Him with his teammates right before the match starts – every game – whether it be against Marcus, Plano West, or Plano East, to name a few of the past games Flower Mound has played. “Everybody has their own little thing before the game,” Edmondson said. “Mine is just ‘ 1-2-3, look up,’ and just praise God for everything He’s blessed me with.” Edmondson thanks God for helping him throughout his basketball career, and credits Him for important awards in his life. “I trust in God to give me the strength to do things,” Edmondson said. “I got the MVP for The Colony Tournament during the Winter Break.” To see Edmondson and his teammates play their next game, McKinney Boyd will be hosting a District match against the Jaguars at 7:30 on Friday.
