SAN ANTONIO (AM News Net) – The San Diego Padres AA affiliate, the San Antonio Missions, have sunk to last place in the Texas League South, The Missions, who just finished a series against the RoughRiders with a 6-2 win, lost to Midland in the first game of a seven at home. By losing 4-2 after an 8th inning rally by the Midland RockHounds last night, San Antonio dropped to last with the Frisco RoughRiders. San Antonio finished the 2016 Texas League First Half at the bottom of the southern league with 22 wins and 48 losses.
