SMU Basketball Hits 10 Game Win Streak

DALLAS (AM News Net) – Undefeated in American Athletic Conference (AAC) play and first in the standings, the SMU Mustangs (14-3, 4-0 AAC) hit their tenth win in a row with an 84-65 victory against South Florida (6-8, 0-3) on Saturday. The team has a perfect record at home with the game marking their 11th win at Moody Coliseum this season. Semi Ojeleye, Sterling Brown, Jarrey Foster, and Ben Moore led the Mustangs in scoring with 21, 19, 17, and eight field goals, respectively. SMU recorded a .545 FG% overall. "I like double figure numbers better than single digit numbers," SMU Head Coach Tom Jankovich said of extending the win streak from nine games to ten.
